In-home PT

I am a resident of the Culpeper living in one of the independent cottages. Recently I had surgery for a total knee replacement in UVA Culpeper hospital.  I requested an in-home Physical Therapist from The Culpeper and they recommended LivinRite.  Danielle was my Physical Therapist and she did an outstanding job. She helped me strengthen muscles and gave me clearly defined exercises to continue to improve. She is very knowledgeable and even gave me instructions on how to safely get into my rather high bed. Thanks to Danielle, my experience with LivinRite is rated a resounding 5! I have already recommended this agency to my neighbors. This agency was very prompt in notifying us exactly when a nurse or therapist was coming. Each were very punctual.

My husband  and I were so impressed with the promptness and thoroughness of the LivinRite agency. They had a PT over the day after we got home from a Total Knee Replacement and started PT right away. The nurse and social worker also did extensive interviews to ensure nothing else was needed. The billing department sent us cost expectations very quickly prior to the surgery.  Colin the PT was also very thorough in his assessment of my husband and in laying out for us what the next few weeks would be like. He listened to our experience and concerns, mapped out a timeline and gave us a plan of action to follow.  All went smoothly with different PTs and according to plan.

Hospice PT

Exceeded expectations

Kim and Danielle provided amazing PT support after my hip services. Kim was my main PT resource and she has the perfect balance of confidence, knowledge, skills and experience. Kim would push me beyond where I thought I could go, knowing what was best for me in the long term. She was also very adaptable and tailored the exercises to make the most of our items in my home. Great therapist

I am a new patient to LivinRite. I recently had a full right knee replacement surgery done. My surgeon’s case manager assigned LivinRite to be my Home Health Provider. I had the pleasure of working with Mr. Eric as the main Physical Therapist handling my case. Mr. Eric focused on improving my performance gradually and leading me to reach the maximum range of motion possible in the limited time my sessions allow. He worked consistently on the hard moves that I needed help with, making sure I had a good warm up exercises first so I can perform at my best. He gave me tips along the way and provided assistance whenever I needed it. He also was cognizant of my pain level and did not push me further if my pain level rose or started to be intolerable. He guided me on what exercises to practice on the days I did not have sessions to achieve maximum results. There were incidents where the assisting therapist, assigned to my case, did not become available due to emergency circumstances, which resulted in cancelling my scheduled session(s). Missed sessions were going to slow down my progress and that was not something Mr. Eric was ready to accept. He made sure to adjust his schedule to fill in for the assisting therapist so that I do not miss any of my scheduled sessions. I truly appreciate his continued efforts and dedication to his work, which result in him putting the best interest of his patients as one of his main priorities. Additionally, Mr. Eric checked out the arrangements we had in the home making sure I have proper accessibility to all my daily needs with no obstacles. My husband completed all required arrangements before my surgery date. Mr. Eric is very professional, conscientious, cares about his patients and their well-being, and has excellent bed side manners. Because of his extensive experience and knowledge, I received professional treatment and achieved the goals required to put me on the road to recovery aiming to continue the success of my surge

Eric was my therapist in Dec. of 2021 and Jan. of 2022. I am already walking and exercising at 90% and I give a great deal of credit to Eric K. who was very knowledgeable, tireless, dependable and with a delightful sense of humor. Despair Gave Way to Hope

On 17 February Tiffany Wolfe, RN, visited with my wife, who is a patient of ProMedica, to assess her need for physical therapy. At a time when "nothing seemed to work," Tiffany gave us a sense of hope...a belief that something could be done to ease the overwhelming mental and physical pain my wife continues to endure. Tiffany is attentive, cordial, compassionate, competent...she actively/patiently assessed the need for a specific, unique therapy to help us. My Nurses Are The Best

I love the service provided by LivinRite (since 2018), especially my usual nurses Danielle and Nikki. My usual issue is my catheter and it’s about a fifteen minute visit to set things right. Today I spoke with nurse Cathy before office hours and was told that I might have to go to Urgent Care. Problem is…I’m a max assist bedbound paraplegic so I can’t “go” to urgent care. I could pay for an ambulance to the ER and wait for treatment then pay for transport back home but no Urgent Care. Thankfully Nurse Nikki gave me a text that she was on the way and she popped in and set things right! No big bill or waiting in the ER. I’m thankful to have HOME health when needed!

Wonderful Home Healthcare

For my hip replacement surgery in January Physical Therapist Nicole worked with me for 2 weeks. I was so impressed with her expertise and care and when I had my knee replacement surgery last month I asked for Nicole again. As with my hip rehab, Nicole was outstanding when she worked with me for my knee rehab. Liz, the nurse who came to remove the staples from my knee ten days after the surgery was awesome. She was very gentle and meticulous when removing the staples and she helped a lot to minimize the pain. The caregivers at LivinRite gave me the best care. Thank You!

Wonderful staff

My mother had to have PT, OT, and nursing help here in my home for several months after her surgery in April. The staff was wonderful, from setting up visits, to the actual professionals coming out to see mom. Recently mom entered an assisted care facility and needed nursing care for a leg wound. We requested Angel who, no pun meant, has been an angel. She usually was the nurse coming to my house to care for mom and she impressed us with her nursing skills and personal commitment to her job as a patient advocate. At the assisted living facility Angel not only continues to help with my mom’s wound care but reaches out to me via phone to make sure I know what’s going on. In these times of Covid with no visits allowed she has been my eyes and goes above and beyond making sure things are done right and that my mom is ok. Mom’s leg wound was not healing. Since Angel started attending to it it is healing nicely. Livin Rite and Angel have, and continue to go, the extra mile by coordinating with my mom’s doctor for televisits for her leg wound so I don’t have to remove her from the facility for doctor visits. Again, with Covid, every time I had to take mom to the doctor she had to start a isolated in-room 2 week quarantine. Angel fixed that problem by being there with mom for the televisits. Just cannot adequately express how much she means to our family. Angel has been a rock star. Thank you!

Our Caregiver Went Above and Beyond in Tough Times

Kate was wonderful. I was nervous about having someone come into my home during the COVID-19 pandemic, but Kate was very cautious. She always wore her gloves and masks, she even placed her bag on a paper and rolled it up so I was even protected from anything she may have had on the bag. I was very happy with the services I received. The staff was amazing, very professional and personable. They were just over the top and went out of their way to make sure I was okay and understood everything. I will definitely use them again if I ever need home health.
