This Privacy Policy applies to website visitors, consumers seeking senior care information, family caregivers, senior care professionals, home care agencies, clients, prospective clients, podcast guests, referral partners, vendors, job applicants, and other people who interact with the Services.
Some pages, websites, forms, campaigns, or services may be operated for an ASN client. Additional privacy notices or disclosures may appear on those properties. When another notice applies to a particular interaction, that notice should be read together with this Privacy Policy.
2. About Approved Senior Network
My Senior Service LLC, DBA Approved Senior Network, provides marketing, education, publishing, media, consulting, sales training, technology, and lead-generation services primarily for home care agencies and other senior care organizations.
ASN is not itself a home care agency, healthcare provider, residential care community, or emergency response service. Unless expressly stated otherwise, ASN does not directly provide personal care, medical care, home health services, placement services, or hands-on caregiving.
Through certain websites and online properties, ASN may help consumers learn about senior care options or contact a specific senior care provider. When a consumer submits a request for information for a selected agency, ASN may transmit the information to that selected agency so it can respond to the request.
3. Agreement to This Privacy Policy
By accessing or using the Services, submitting information to us, subscribing to communications, downloading a resource, or otherwise interacting with us, you acknowledge the practices described in this Privacy Policy.
Where applicable law requires consent for a particular activity, we will request consent before conducting that activity. You may withdraw consent where permitted by law, although withdrawal will not affect processing that occurred before consent was withdrawn.
Do not use the Services or provide personal information to us if you do not agree with this Privacy Policy.
4. Information We Collect
The information we collect depends on how you interact with ASN and the Services. We may collect information directly from you, automatically through technology, from ASN clients and other third parties, and through inferences based on the information available to us.

When you submit a request involving a selected senior care agency, you also authorize ASN to transmit your contact information to that selected agency so the agency can respond.
Depending on the disclosure displayed with a particular form, communications may include telephone calls or text messages made using automated technology. Consent to receive promotional calls or texts is not a condition of purchasing ASN services unless expressly stated otherwise.
Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency may vary. Reply STOP to opt out of text messages and HELP for assistance.
Mobile information will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes. This limitation does not prevent ASN from:
- Sending information to the senior care agency you specifically selected
- Using vendors that help deliver messages or operate the Services
- Disclosing information when required by law
- Processing information as otherwise described in this Privacy Policy
7. Recorded Communications
Telephone calls, video meetings, webinars, interviews, and other communications may be recorded, transcribed, summarized, or monitored for:
- Quality assurance
- Training
- Documentation
- Client service
- Content production

When required, we will provide notice or request consent before recording. Do not participate in a recorded communication if you do not consent to the recording.

10. Global Privacy Control and Universal Opt-Out Signals
Where applicable law requires us to recognize a browser-based opt-out preference signal, such as Global Privacy Control, we will process a qualifying signal as an opt-out request for the browser or device through which the signal is sent.
Because these signals are generally associated with a particular browser or device, you may need to enable the signal separately on each browser or device you use.
11. How We Disclose Personal Information
We may disclose personal information to the following categories of recipients.
A. The Senior Care Agency You Selected

D. Advertising and Analytics Partners
We may allow advertising and analytics providers to collect information through cookies and similar technologies.
Under certain state privacy laws, some online advertising activity may be considered "sharing," "targeted advertising," or a "sale," even when no money is exchanged for personal information.
ASN does not sell consumers' directly submitted contact information for money. However, website identifiers, device information, or internet activity may be processed by advertising partners in a manner that is legally defined as sharing or targeted advertising.
Eligible consumers may opt out as described in the Your Privacy Rights section.

We may disclose information when you direct us to do so, request a particular interaction, or provide consent.
12. Sale and Sharing of Personal Information
ASN does not sell directly submitted consumer names, telephone numbers, email addresses, or care-request details to data brokers or unrelated companies for money.
ASN may use advertising and analytics technologies that involve disclosure of online identifiers, device information, or internet activity to advertising or analytics providers. Depending on the state in which you reside, those activities may be legally characterized as:

Where applicable, you may opt out of these activities by:
- Using the privacy-preference tool available on the applicable website

When required by law, we will maintain de-identified information in de-identified form and will not attempt to re-identify it except to test whether our de-identification methods are effective.
14. Social Media and Third-Party Features
The Services may include links, buttons, widgets, embedded media, plug-ins, or other features provided by social media platforms and third parties.
These features may allow a third party to collect information about your device, browser, and interaction with the Services. Information you post publicly through a social platform may be visible to ASN, the platform, and the public.

16. Health-Related Information and HIPAA
Some consumer inquiries may contain general information about care needs, health conditions, memory loss, mobility, hospitalization, or daily living assistance.
ASN is a marketing and technology services company and is not automatically subject to the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act merely because a consumer submits health-related information through a general inquiry form.
In some circumstances, ASN may provide services to an organization that is subject to healthcare privacy requirements and may process information under a separate agreement with that organization.
Do not use a general ASN website form to send detailed medical records or highly sensitive clinical information. Contact the selected care provider directly if secure transmission of medical information is required.
The Services are not intended for medical emergencies. Call 911 or the appropriate local emergency number if someone is experiencing an emergency.
17. Data Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information under our control.
These safeguards may include:
- Access controls
- Password protections
- Encryption where appropriate

No website, database, network, electronic transmission, or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure. You provide information electronically at your own risk.

Backup and archival copies may remain for a limited period before being overwritten or deleted.
19. Your Communication Choices
Marketing Emails
Use the unsubscribe link included in a marketing email to stop receiving promotional email communications.
Unsubscribing from marketing messages does not prevent us from sending account, transactional, legal, security, appointment, or service-related communications.

Reply STOP to opt out of text messages. You may receive a confirmation message.
Telephone Calls
You may ask not to receive marketing calls from ASN. This request will not necessarily prevent calls needed to respond to an active request, administer an account, or provide contracted services.

Where required, we recognize qualifying Global Privacy Control signals as requests to opt out of sale or sharing for the browser or device sending the signal.

ASN does not use sensitive personal information to infer characteristics about consumers for unrelated purposes.
