Larry Hunt

My husband Larry was very seriously injured in a motorcycle accident August 30, 2020. He was airlifted to NC Baptist Hospital and stay there for 4 weeks, then was transferred to High Regional Hospital for 1 week. I was strongly directed to put Larry in a skilled nursing facility since he was unable to bear weight from a broken pelvis surgery. I fused to do that and was referred to Tenderhearted Home Care to assist Larry with his daily living activities until he was able to bear weight again and start walking. From the first moment I spoke with Renee to Tracy coming to the house to do her in home assessment of Larry it was such a comfortable feeling and I knew I could trust them with Larry's care as I returned back to work. Cathy Brown, Larry's in home aide was absolutely marvelous!!!

caring people well trained

They get caring people well trained and they take care of my wife and do a good job. They get to know her and encourage and joke with her. They know how to use a Hoyer lift and they do a good job getting her around.

quality personnel

They make sure they have quality personnel. They have made me be able to do the things I need to do. They are prompt and they will let you know if there is something wrong. I have talked to the office and if somebody needs to fill in for our private caregiver, they are able to find people. The caregivers take good care of the client.

Very Competent

The people I have coming are very competent. They are always on time. They help with everything, like how they give him his exercises. I hate to do them and they do them every night. They get a shower for him. They are pleasant with everything they do for him. When something comes up, the office lets me know if they are going to be a little late, though it is rare that they are late.

Good job at matching

They had some really strong workers who connected with my mom personally. They were very positive. The folks that sat with my mom had real life experience with dementia and were able to give some helpful resources and guidance. They did things with her like taking her on a ride if she got upset. They would bake and garden with her. They did a good job at matching her with the caregivers.

Vary happy with care

They are punctual and qualified. Our caregiver is very pleasant and she is very caring. She gets him out of bed, bathes him, and dresses him. She helps him to the toilet and helps him work out. She takes out the garbage and anything else I might need. The office keeps in touch. They are prompt and are willing to stay a little longer if I need them.

They do a good job

The caregivers are prompt and they do a good job. They try to do everything they can to help me. She helps me with my shower, keeps my room straightened, and makes my bed. I really like the caregiver we have. She looks for ways to help me and she will get me anything that I need.
