Overall I am pleased with Superior. I will preface this by saying I have no other experience with any other home care to compare. Most of the care givers are good, but have had a few that were sub par. 1. I feel that when a new care giver is sent they should be accompanied by another care giver that has taken care of my husband to show them "the ropes" and his routine. I am not paid by Superior to train a care giver or physically able to do it myself. 2. His PT and OT therapists have graciously and on their own time come in the evening to train the evening caregivers his exercise routine. The PT/OT therapists have stated many times to the caregivers, that if done properly the exercises should take approximately 20 to 30 minutes. (His exercises are posted on the wall.) I have only had one that exercises him for that period of time. The rest are done in 10 minutes. 3. Communication- Fair to poor between office and client. Fair to poor between office and caregiver. On the good side, they have always been kind, friendly and gentle with my husband as he is a paraplegic.
