Nu Care Inc is an independently owned and operated, non-medical home care provider with branch offices in Orange County, Los Angeles, San Jose, San Diego and the Inland Empire, and services available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Its Westminster office serves Orange County, its headquarters and training center. Care includes companion care, respite (including special needs respite through California Regional Centers), veteran in-home care, hospital-to-home transition support, and basic, intermediate and advanced care plans, with memory care in the advanced plan; visits are a minimum of four hours. Nu Care trains caregivers in its own 3,600 sq ft facility, processes long-term care insurance claims for clients, is a credentialed provider in the CareScout Quality Network, and works with VA programs.

Been trying this service for about 7 months thru Regional Services. The providers that arrive are pleasant and professional, however, cancellations including last minute are frequent and therefore not a reliable support for my autistic son. It could be that providers are not compensated well and have turnover or back out last minute.
