  I would think twice before hiring this company to service your loved ones starting with the owner Kevin and I’m naming people which I don’t normally do in a review, but he was so unprofessional about a lot of interactions that I had to have with him that it warranted me to have to call that part out because when the owner is unprofessional, that’s when you really have a problem. His people on the other hand was very professional when it came to service in my brother, and never taking the time to communicate with me properly as a professional service that was being provided for my brother who is a Navy Veteran, I feel that he should have been more respectfully communicate properly when I am the power of attorney on record for my brother to handle his health care services. He listened to family members that did not have that position that in my opinion have a lot of malice in their heart going towards this whole situation and by him not being professional and dealing with it from a professional standpoint, things could’ve been handled very differently so the reason why I’m given this review is because the owner of this establishment was not professional not necessarily the people that came out and serviced my brother and that is a problem right there when it comes to providing services to the public unfortunately I have to give a review like this which I hardly ever do, but it was so bad I said, let me just say something so hopefully no one else will have to be disrespected like I was not listen to like I was hung up in my face and my brother‘s face on from the phone instead of taking a moment to listen to whatever my brother had to say, and then if I needed to say something what I had to say, but since he did not stay on the phone, he didn’t even know who was gonna talk and that right there is very disrespectful so be very careful because when the problem is coming from the owner now you really got a problem of an establishment and I am reporting them to the VA because I think that I want to spare other veterans and their advocates or the POA’s on record from the experience that I had.

  Give much thought before you employ this company for your loved one. My 93 yr old Veteran father had his care terminated without notice. (The Client Service Agreement states they provide 72 hrs notice or 3 business days). They did not. The company makes claims Client Satisfaction is important to them and encourages clients to reach out to the owner with concerns or issues. I expressed my opinions, issues and concerns regarding his management team on a Wednesday. The following day I was informed my father’s care was terminated and caregiver was not returning which put our family in great distress as we had no one to care for my father during the week. His VA authorized hrs were returned to the VA. There was no discussion about this and we were shocked that a company would treat a client this way. We were coldly and cruelly dropped as clients because I voiced my opinion which should be encouraged if a company truly wants to improve services and ensure they meet your needs and expectations. Simply said, all we want is for our loved one to be cared for. What happened to us was unkind and very hurtful. Hopefully this review helps to educate and inform.

  For the past five years, Dad and I have been working with No Place Like Home. We connected with Eric through the VA, and their assistance has been invaluable. Over the years, we’ve had several health aides, for various reasons, and each time the staff has been accommodating, communicative, and reliable. Welcoming a new caregiver into the home to assist with an aging loved one is never easy, but the team and I have navigated the challenges of transitioning a senior into additional care together. I am grateful for the time and effort they have invested in making this process as smooth as possible.

  No Place Like Home Health is truly a great Home Health Care agency. I, along with my siblings are eternally grateful for the compassionate and respectful care provided to our mother. Our mother looked forward each day to spend time with all of her caregivers, in particular with Linda, with whom she quickly developed a very special bond. I was initially referred to this company by a Veterans Administration representative. I have since recommended this company to family, friends and anyone looking for assistance to attend to or care for their loved one's needs. From the very first contact over the phone, I found the owner Kevin to be sincere, compassionate, and extremely knowledgeable with all matters concerning health care. Quickly, I further discerned Kevin truly cares about his clients, his employees and their well being too. In short order, we fostered a long lasting and trustworthy relationship with Kevin and his staff.

  While attending a community library event in search of resources to help my elderly father, I was fortunate to meet Joanne from No Place Like Home Health. After several years trying to navigate the maze of home healthcare options, I was both impressed and relieved to have NPLHH walk me through the steps of securing help for my dad. I believe that the NPLHH staff really cares and truly wants to help families. The process was quick and efficient and we have now had help for my dad for over month. The caregivers are wonderful - compassionate, polite and professional, and always right on time for visits. I highly recommend NPLHH for help with your loved ones.
