Great experience

Lares Home Care and Linda were outstanding. A few years prior to Lares I had dealt with a different agency that disappointed us. During my mom’s latest health issue the medical facility my mom was at told us about Lares and how they had good feedback. I went into it skeptical however within a few minutes of speaking with Linda and learning more I knew we had finally found the right agency. Linda was a breath of fresh air. Organized, responsive and knowledgeable about the care process both professionally and as an adult whose own parent went through this. The aide she matched my mom with was great. Very professional and kind. Lares also helped coordinate immediate visiting nursing care with a private registered nurse Lares Home Care and Linda were outstanding. Home care for mom

The help we needed, fast.

When I first called Lares about a year ago, we were in a state of panic.  Our 97-year-old mum, a resident in an assisted living community, took a turn for the worse and we needed to get her extra help, fast.  The team at Lares jumped on the assignment and quickly processed the paperwork while putting together a comprehensive care schedule.  Each caregiver was knowledgeable, capable, and compassionate---the kind of people you would want around your loved one.  Our mum was able to stay in her own room, surrounded by the things she loved, while receiving expert care. Recently, she had another rough spell and we knew who to call.  It was a tremendous relief to know a Lares caregiver was by her side when family could not be there.  I hope Lares is still around when I'm 97!

Outstanding Home Care

The process of partnering with an in-home care company for your love one can be overwhelming. Linda, Betty and the entire LARES organization have and continue to go above and beyond to assist my sister and our family. Right from the start, their caring shined through! Tremendous care

From the first night I contacted Lares in a near panic with my mom coming home from the hospital in a couple of days abd not knowing how to care for her, through mom's passing, Lares was there for us. Anthony was always available to help with any and all questions and logistics, Nancy was so thoughtful and caring and was a comforting presence for us in our mom's last days. And our two main caregivers, Patience and Emelia were amazing. They shared their lives with us, and their love and care. Our dad was a minister and my mother a woman of strong faith. Both ladies sang hymns with and for us which I know mom enjoyed. Both ladies also gracefully managed to deal with the stresses we all at times let show. For the entire time we used Lares, I never felt alone through this horribly difficult time. I would absolutely use Lares again if the need presented itself. Amazing people, each and every one.

Our Postive over 2.25 years With Lares

Each staff member - owner, nurse, caregiver, office manager and team -- always been accessible and have given me exceptional service. Lares Home Care found the perfect caregiver match! They listened to needs and accommodated us accordingly. Even during the peak of Covid 19 cases and lockdowns, Lares' services took appropriate measures and never waivered to provide excellent care. I can't speak for the experience of others, but I can say whole-heartedly that from my perspective, the current owner and staff members that I interfaced with are providing the kind of quality service that everyone can feel proud of and feel safe with. When our beloved caregiver needed time off, Lares handled the replacements. When we had concerns about the replacements, Lares immediately responded and addressed our concerns . Lares Home Care has provided excellent care for both of my parents

We first were introduced to Lares Home Care when my father needed live-in support. Lares provided a wonderful gentleman who cared for my father during the last six months of his life. Recently, my mother needed care after a hospital stay and I again arranged for a lovely live-in aide, who is currently helping my mother with her daily needs and is a positive force in her recovery. Lares Home Care also has an experienced professional staff to work with when arranging care and providing regular medical assessments. LARES Home Care

I used this agency to care for my mother-in-law. She needed 24 hour care as her health declined. LARES was the only agency, I contacted two others, that responded to me in a timely manner with detailed information about 24 hour care, with a follow- up call and a home visitation to meet my mother-in-law. Although, she passed within 4 days of having a caretaker in the home, the service, care and compassion was exceptional. I highly recommend this agency when home care is needed.

Live-in Care

Exceptional live-in

Our experience with Lares Home Care was exceptional- Start to finish! From the office staff who worked to find us coverage within less than two days from calling to having the aide begin, to the wonderful RN who met with us at the initiation of services to the very capable and caring home aide. We were lucky enough to have Clement as my father’s live in aide. From the moment he came, he asked all the right caring and insightful questions to make sure he provided personalized and wonderful care for my father. Exceptional Care

Very good communications and even better care

We've been using Lares for in-home care for a little over a year, including throughout this horrific health crisis, and have had an exceptional experience.
