CareCo HomeCare is a family-owned, non-medical home care provider with more than 20 years of experience, serving Connecticut, Massachusetts, Maine, New Hampshire and Rhode Island. Its Waterford, CT office serves these communities and surrounding areas: Groton, Waterford, East Lyme and Mystic. Care includes 24-hour and live-in care, Alzheimer's and dementia support, hospital-to-home care, personal care, companion care and respite for family caregivers, on hourly, full-time, long-term or overnight awake schedules. CareCo accepts private pay, long-term care insurance, Medicaid and VA health benefits. The Waterford location also runs non-medical adult day services, with a nurse on staff Monday through Friday.

As an employee I want to say that I love working for CareCo . Everyone is so nice and they have given me all the right tools to be the best caregiver that I can be ! Also Allison Krampe is absolutely amazing. Through any issues she has always helped me with any needs and has always gotten back to me in a quick and professional manor. She is amazing !

I have had nothing but positive experiences with the company care co. All of the employers are the nicest people I've ever met worked with before and the wonderful receptionist Allison that always answers the phone is a sweetheart. Overall CARECO has consistently provided caregivers who are polite, responsive and reliable. I am dissatisfied with their accounting practices with long waits for explanations and refunds. As in any “people “ business the interaction between client and caregivers is built upon trust between the two, and their level of experience. I find the “more mature” caregivers are able to seek out ways to help without any instruction. For example Dashon noticed my refrigerator needed organizing and cleaning and started to do so. Linda. Patullo reflects the very best of caregiver service. While brushing my hair she noticed the brush needed cleaning and did so. She avidly watched over my plants and checked the bird feeder daily insuring both me and the birds were well fed. It is that extra measure of attentiveness and kindness that is so natural and genuine that it makes my illness easier to deal with, and typifies the role of caregiver. Thank you

Everyone that works there is super nice especially the owner Helga! She sent us food while my boyfriend recovered from an accident. He has been working for Helga doing all kinds of different jobs for about 3 years. I am so grateful for everything Helga has helped us with. If I could do 10 ⭐ I would 😊

The company has been so supportive of its worker, going above and beyond for the happiness of there workers. I have been with this company for 5 years and Helga has been a amazing boss to work for and treats me with respect and like I'm apart of the team. There's only 5 stars to give, however if I can give Helga 10 stars, I would give her 10 stars.
