What training do your dementia caregivers receive?
All caregivers receive specialized training in all dementias and receive ongoing training 6 times per year. They also receive specialized training in conditions such as MS management, ALS, Parkinson's disease, and hip replacement recovery, and must meet certification requirements as determined by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
What happens if we're not comfortable with our assigned caregiver?
CARE Resolutions offers a Caregiver Guarantee: if a client or family is not comfortable for any reason with their assigned caregiver, the provider will make a change to ensure their comfort level and needs are met.
How are caregivers screened and vetted?
All caregivers must pass a National Criminal Background test and CORI check, are randomly drug and alcohol tested, and meet certification requirements determined by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Caregivers are also thoroughly evaluated and matched based on skills, experience, certifications, personality, hobbies, and outside interests.
