Adara Home Health, formerly Prairie River Home Care, is a Medicare-certified home health agency headquartered in Buffalo, Minnesota. Founded in 1989 as Prairie River Inc., it became Medicare-certified in 1996 and became Adara Home Health in January 2019, and today serves 60 of Minnesota's 87 counties through seven branch offices. Its Mankato office serves Brown, Nicollet, Le Sueur, Rice, Blue Earth, Waseca, Steele, Freeborn, Cottonwood, Watonwan, Jackson, Martin and Faribault counties, including Mankato, Faribault, Owatonna, Montgomery, New Ulm, Albert Lea, Waseca, Waterville, Le Sueur, Fairmont, Blue Earth, St. James, Jackson, Madelia, Truman, Welcome, Trimont, Wells, Easton, Granada, Huntley and East Chain. Highly recommend this company! Alison from OT and Mike from PT are the best! They truly care about their clients and listen to their concerns. They both take the time to explain everything and make sure you understand and are comfortable with your treatment plan. I would not be where I am in my recovery if it wasn’t for both of them! They go above and beyond their job responsibilities!

My sister had a wound on her leg from repeated surgeries to remove cancer. The wound was more than a year old and refused to heal. Nate from Adara was wonderful and kind to my sister and was making such progress on getting her wound to heal. My sister also had extremely swollen legs. By using special wraps Nate was able to decrease this swelling by about 60%. My sister had told me about this, but I was amazed when I saw it for myself upon visiting her. My sister recently passed away from heart issues, but Nate will always be a hero in my eyes for what he did for my sister during his time with her.

I am very impressed with Nancy and Pam the OT and PT and their work with my 101 year old mother. Compassionate, efficient, friendly and knowledgeable. I have worked with many Physical and Occupational therapists over the years and they are the best!
