A Passion for Care's Caregivers are Angels on Earth

On behalf of Stuart, myself, and the entire family, I want to thank you and your group of angels on earth for the compassionate, expert, and tender care that they offered to us during the trying end of life journey. All of us deserve a peaceful ending. However, without the tireless efforts of Stuart’s dedicated team, he would never have achieved that. Their professionalism and commitment to staying by his side, notwithstanding their own fatigue and outside responsibilities, enabled Stuart to have the continuity of the saintly voices, hands and souls that I believe gave him the serenity that enabled him to finally achieve calm and rest in the end. I believe that we witnessed a little bit of heaven operating on earth in that back bedroom.

Above and Beyond Care

We used A Passion for Care for 2.5 years and were very pleased. We required 2 caregivers 24/7 and they provided great caregivers that were skilled, attentive, and helpful. The daytime caregivers did a great job with all medical needs (sic doctors’ appointments and communication) and provided the companionship and entertainment that kept the days fun and meaningful. The evening caregivers were awake and on alert for all the evening needs. I worked closely with Pat and would oversee a lot of situations that happened behind the scenes. There are a lot of things to balance when scheduling multiple caregivers every week, along with the intensified medical needs of the patient. We had an easy way to communicate with caregivers including a online chat feature. This was helpful because I could ask questions to a specific individual or a group and everyone could follow along and were aware of the ever-changing situations and needs of the patient. They went out of their way to make sure that supplies were ordered, doctors’ appointments were made and even attended doctors’ visits when necessary. I truly believe that A Passion for Care went above and beyond for the overall care of our senior patient. I would say that A Passion for Care would be considered the “Top Shelf Liquor” of their industry, and I would highly recommend utilizing their care giving services.

I Love Working for a Company Who Cares

I love working for this company. The pay is better than any other company and Pat Melzer the owner is amazing !! She cares about her employees. Christine the scheduler makes sure you are working and takes the time to make sure you are happy with your schedule. I will never leave this company i highly recommend APFC if you are looking for employment or care for a family member.

Personal Care, Solid Company!

Had a great experience with this company as a caregiver. It’s rare to find a company that will work with you to develop a schedule that works for you. It’s that kind of personal care Pat and her crew have for their employees AND their clients. I always felt each client’s care was a team effort involving Pat, my case manager and myself. We worked with the clients, not just for them. Also, to have a family hire from the same company as their parents age, to trust this precious time not just once but twice says the care APforC gives is truly heartfelt. As an employee or as a client, this company is solid and well worth your time.

Friendly, Kind and Caring Staff!

Passion for Care gave my husband excellent care for several months. We started gradually at 6 hours and increase to 14 hours a day as the need increased. The staff was friendly, kind, and caring which made a big difference in his care overall. I could always count on Symphony to find someone to cover if an emergency came up. Thank you for making a difference in my husband’s care so he could enjoy his last days with dignity.
